Doctors

Dr Alan Stone (m)

Dr._Alan_Stone.jpgQualified in 1984, MBBS, MSc, MRCGP, MAcad MEd, DRCOG, DCH, FP Cert. (GP Partner)

His special interests include upper gastro-intestinal illness, childhood illness, asthma and diabetes. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Cardiff.  Dr Stone also carries out minor surgery procedures one Wednesday afternoon per month.

Dr Siwan Evans (f)

Her special interests are women's health and memory problems in the elderly. She is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Please note that Dr Evans has taken a sabbatical and will be away from 1st June 2015 until 30th September 2015.  Her work will be covered by Dr Lisa Palmer during this period.  Appointments with Dr Palmer can be made at Reception.

Dr Bethan Herbert (f)

Her special interests are childhood illness and women's health. She is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Dr Phil Ganderton (m)

Worked in several surgical specialities before training to be a GP. He joined the practice in September 2004. He carries out minor surgery procedures one Tuesday afternoon per month.

Dr Deborah Vaughan (f)

She has worked in General Practice and Accident and Emergency for over 12 years before joining Canna Surgery. Her special interests include A&E, childhood illness and women's health.

Dr Steve Davies (m)

Dr Davies completed his GP training with us back in 2010.  He has worked as a GP in the East of Cardiff for many years and also serves terms of office as a representative on both the Bro Taf LMC and GPC Wales. 

Dr Sabrina Turner (f)

Dr Turner will be completing her GP training with the practice until August 2018.

Dr Tinzar Win Ko (f)

Dr Win Ko will be undertaking her GP training with us until August 2018.
