Cervical cancer is still a killer in the UK, but could easily be prevented by having regular cervical smears. If you are not sure when your next smear is due, please feel free to contact the practice and we will let you know. If your smear is overdue, please make an appointment with our practice nurse.
Our nurse and Doctor run Diabetic Clinic. Appointments for annual reviews are sent out routinely by the Administration Team.
Wart Clinic is held following Dr Stone's Minor Surgery clinics. Please contact Reception to make an appointment.
Well Baby Clinic
We run a well baby clinic for routine immunisations and baby checks. The health visitor, practice nurse and doctor are available at this clinic.
Held currently from 13:30 to 15:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. You do not need to make an appointment, simply turn up between these times and let reception know why you have attended.
There are occasions when baby clinic may need to be cancelled, so please contact the surgery if you are unsure if there is a clinic.
The Health Visitors are also trainers and mentors for new health visitors, therefore on occasion, there may be a student health visitor present during clinic. If you have are unhappy with this let the Health Visitor know immediately.
The Health Visitors are not based within the surgery premises, however they can be contacted by telephone on 029 2183 2216.
Antenatal Clinics are held by the Community Midwives on Wednesdays from 09:00. Please contact reception to make an appointment.
